Good to know

Composition

Connect biome plus optional appearance and placements (terminals or Placement Sets). The same biome can be reused by distinct Region Outputs. Connect directly to World Output regions, or combine using Choose Region. Groups may expose REGION ports, including nested groups.

Appearance and placement scope

Appearance applies biome default, then region appearance, then global World Output appearance. A regional placement is admitted at its located anchor/air block only when this region is selected and its own logical-biome filter allows it. Ineligible contacts do not consume the scan cap; later chance/frame failures do not retry. Objects may extend across borders.

Ordering and identity

Each Region Output is one identity, even when selected by several branches. Programs run by first encounter in a below-first traversal of Choose Region, preserving each set’s order; global placements run last. One terminal cannot belong to multiple regions or also be global; instantiate a group containing separate terminals for independent runs.

Query key

Optional queryKey binds Region Membership and Distance to Region Edge fields. Repeated keys intentionally query a union, including reused group instances. Display names and folders do not bind fields.
