Coordinate

Outputs the selected world-space X, Y, or Z coordinate in blocks.

What it does

Make a shape depend on height or on its position across the map. Coordinate turns the chosen axis into a density, so values rise as you move along that axis.

Choose Y in Axis, then connect Output to Step for a height mask. For a gentler change with altitude, use Remap or Piecewise Linear.

In 3D

The same output in relief: each value becomes a height, coloured like the map above. Drag to look around.

Good to know

Check where coordinates are moved

Inside a warp or coordinate override, the value follows the transformed position. Inspect that branch if a height mask appears to bend with the terrain.
