Introduction
Build a world generator inside Minecraft, then run it on your own server.
Massif has two halves. Massif Studio is a Minecraft mod you build with: you shape terrain, biomes and features from inside the game and see the land regenerate around you. The Massif runtime is what your server uses: a Paper plugin or a Minestom library that generates your world from an export, with no connection back to us.
New here? Getting started takes you from your invite to a world on your server.
Where to go
- Install Studio: the one-click modpack, or the mod on its own.
- Studio basics: edit a starter, inspect a field and preview the terrain.
- Nodes and networks: shapes, materials, places and the links between them.
- Paper: put your world on a Paper server.
- Minestom: generate your world in a Minestom project.
- Troubleshooting: the problems people actually run into, and the fix.
Massif is in closed beta. If something here doesn’t match what you see, tell us: it’s a bug in the docs or in Massif, and either way we want to know.
Beta downloads are still being prepared. The Downloads page shows when packages are available; these guides describe the installation path once you have them.
