What it does
Place copies of a template at scattered positions on the terrain. The anchor supplies horizontal spots, the locator finds heights, and the variants decide what is placed there.
Connect Anchor, Locator, Biome and Variants, then send Output to World Output. Use Chance to thin the placements. Salt is an extra random seed: change it to reshuffle the kept spots and variant choices. With a Jittered Square anchor the spots themselves stay put, because that anchor has its own seed.

Good to know
Check the route when nothing appears
Follow the output to World Output, check the biome restriction, and make sure the locator searches around your ground. Then inspect Chance.
Set the pivot before judging the height
The template pivot lands at the position found by the locator. Adjust it if the structure floats or sinks, and remember that template blocks replace the terrain they cover, including with air.
