What it is
A frame sets a formation's orientation: which way it points, how it twists and leans, how far it sinks into the ground, and an extra offset.

Order matters
The frame applies heading, then twist, then lean, then sink and offset. It never stretches or scales the shape.
Steep ground
Following the surface can tilt a formation. The maximum tilt (0 to 90 degrees) either skips steeper spots or clamps to the limit.
