What it does
Make hills higher without making them wider. Scale multiplies density values, so a subtle noise can become a height field measured in blocks.
Connect your noise to Input and increase Factor until the relief has the height you want. Keep the noise’s own scale for hill width. A negative factor reverses the pattern, turning its high areas into low ones.
Shape
What comes out for each value that goes in, computed by the real engine. Above the orange line is solid ground.
Input unchanged
On noise
The standard noise stretched to run from -1 to 1, before and after this node. First along one line, then seen from above.

Inputs and outputs
| Name | Type | Default | What it changes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Inputs | |||
| Input | Density | The density whose amplitude you want to change. | |
| Factor | Real | required | Higher positive values amplify the relief; negative values invert it. |
| Output | |||
| Output | Density | The input density multiplied by the factor. | |
