How a placement finds its height: a fixed Y, or the floor or ceiling of the terrain.

What it is

A locator takes each candidate spot and finds where to put it vertically. Fixed Height uses one Y; Terrain Surface scans down or up for a floor or a ceiling.

More than one per column

A terrain locator can find several surfaces in the same column, such as cave floors at different depths. Its cap sets how many it keeps.
