What it does
Paint patches with either of two materials. A density decides which side of the threshold each block falls on; it can be a separate noise rather than the field shaping your terrain.
Connect that field to Density, then choose Low and High. Move Threshold while looking at the material preview to change the balance. Put the result inside Material by Solidity if it should only paint solid ground.
Inputs and outputs
| Name | Type | Default | What it changes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Inputs | |||
| Density | Density | The field used to choose between the two materials. | |
| Low | Material | stone | The material used below the threshold. |
| High | Material | minecraft:air | The material used at or above the threshold. |
| Threshold | Real | 0.0 | Higher values favour the lower material; equality chooses the upper material. |
| Output | |||
| Output | Material | The chosen material, including in empty terrain unless restricted. | |
Good to know
Leave room for the next rule
Choosing air is still a block choice and stops a Material Queue. Use Density Bands if the rule should make no choice outside a region.
