Install Studio · Massif

Get Massif Studio running in your launcher, with the modpack or the mod on its own.

Massif Studio currently supports Windows x86_64 and Linux x86_64. It requires Minecraft Java 26.2, Java 25 or newer, Fabric Loader 0.19.3 or newer and Fabric API 0.158.0+26.2 or newer for Minecraft 26.2. The modpack pins these Minecraft and Fabric versions. Downloads are on the Downloads page; the beta release is not yet available.

With the modpack (recommended)

The modpack (.mrpack) contains the right Minecraft version, Fabric loader, Fabric API and Massif Studio. Your launcher creates a separate instance for it, so your other worlds and mods are untouched.

Prism Launcher

Click Add Instance, then Import on the left.
Choose the .mrpack file you downloaded and press OK.
Select the new Massif Studio instance and press Launch.

Modrinth App

Click + (Create an instance), then Import from file.
Choose the .mrpack file. The instance appears in your library; press Play.

With the mod only

If you already run Fabric for Minecraft 26.2, put the Massif Studio .jar in your instance’s mods folder, next to Fabric API, using the versions above.

Check it worked

On the title screen you’ll find a Massif button, and G opens Studio from anywhere. If neither is there, see Troubleshooting.

If the Client download fails, use Retry in Minecraft. “Unsupported Studio platform” means the current installer cannot run on your OS or architecture. Logs are in your Minecraft instance: logs/latest.log for Studio and config/massif-studio-client/logs/massif-client.log for Client.
